- Dies KDifficult finding actual good pastries in The Hague - this blew us away. I am no sweet tooth, I've never really been but this made me a believer. White lemon profiteroles with cream, and a light hazelnut chocolate desert cost us 9 euros, and worth every penny. The shop is clean and very quiet, do walk in and try it out for yourself ! Definitely going back.
- Sonja PLemon-lime cheesecake made by the most warm-hearted and dedicated Italien pastry chefs I know! The first time we visited Elio's store we tried pastries filled with very soft and delicious creams. Especially the chocolate ones had a surprisingly smooth taste to it. Elio explained to us that he only uses the freshest and authentic ingredients which I appreciate a lot. That's why I decided to go for a customized cake as a gift. The lemon-lime cheesecake had different layers and textures. Not only the citrus note gave it freshness but also the cream itself which was soft and not too sweet. Also the base had a nice buttery taste. Highly recommend to check out this place, and do have a chat with Elio. This is as close as it gets to eating in Italy 🇮🇹
- Vincenzo TDuci is not only the place to have a real Italian, homemade, fresh dessert and coffee. You can also ask Elio to organize a dinner for you. Now, *that* is really a special experience; everything is high level, from the quality of the ingredients to the explanation from the chef. Not a fancy restaurant, but a place where you can taste Gourmet level and elaborate preparations and presentations of aesthetically balanced meals, following the ideas and the fantasy of one of the best Italian chefs in The Hague!
